Día Internacional de Internet Seguro
El Día Internacional de Internet Seguro (Safer Internet Day), es un evento muy importante, el cual fue propuesto por la red INSAFE y apoyado por la Unión Europea. Se celebra el segundo martes de febrero y su objetivo es crear conciencia de la importancia que tiene el hacer de Internet una plataforma digital mas segura.
Sin duda alguna, Internet ha supuesto un cambio en la vida de las personas y son muchos los beneficios que se pueden obtener al navegar. Sin embargo, al ser un medio de comunicación accesible a todo tipo de público, su uso también puede convertirse en un peligro. Por ello es necesario, que las personas sepan cómo usarlo y reconozcan las amenazas.
Desde Inercia Digital queremos celebrar este día haciendo mención al proyecto Erasmus+ CYBER.EU.VET, el cual tiene como objetivo fortalecer, en los centros europeos de Formación Profesional (FP), la capacidad de reconocer y manejar estas amenazas.
Para ello, se formará a los educadores de FP en el manejo de amenazas en ciberseguridad, brindándoles los conocimientos necesarios para transmitir buenas prácticas y habilidades a sus estudiantes, y se incrementará la concienciación entre el profesorado de FP, estudiantes y sus familias en la importancia de reconocer estos riesgos diarios, que pueden tener un impacto tanto social como económico en la ciudadanía Europea.

Safer Internet Day
The International Safer Internet Day is a very important event, which was proposed by the INSAFE network and supported by the European Union. It is celebrated on the second Tuesday of February and its objective is to create awareness of the importance of making the Internet a safer digital platform.
Without a doubt, the Internet has brought about a change in people’s lives and there are many benefits that can be obtained when browsing. However, being a means of communication accessible to all types of public, the use of the Internet can also become a danger. Therefore, it is necessary that people know how to use it and recognise the threats.
From Inercia Digital we want to celebrate this day by mentioning the #CYBEREUVET project, which aims to strengthen the ability of European Vocational Training centres to recognize and manage these threats.
To this end, VET educators will be trained in the management of cybersecurity threats, giving them the necessary knowledge to transmit good practises and skills to their students, and awareness will be increased among VET teachers, students and their families on the importance of recognise these daily risks, which can have both a social and economic impact on European citizenship.
