La gran mayoría de las familias que tienen un hijo o hija con autismo prefieren que ellos estén en el aula ordinaria durante la etapa educativa de Educación Primaria, según afirman varias investigaciones. Y es que este es uno de los motivos fundamentales por los que el proyecto ERASMUS+ The A Class surgió, además de la escasa formación que el equipo docente que no está especializado en Educación Especial posee, para afrontar este tipo de situaciones. 
La necesidad de actualizarse y formarse es urgente, y este proyecto ha demostrado ser de gran utilidad y ayuda, al menos para el equipo docente del Colegio Virgen del Rocío de Huelva, donde se celebró el evento de difusión nacional el pasado lunes día 6 de febrero. Durante el mismo, su elenco de profesionales tuvieron la oportunidad no sólo de conocer el proyecto sino de ver y probar todo el material que se ha realizado durante estos dos años que ha durado este proyecto europeo. Gracias a la página web de The A Class, todo el material se ofrece pública y gratuitamente para que se pueda acceder sin ningún problema y podemos destacar resultados como un curso de formación presencial y otro curso eLearning (los cuales se componen tanto de material educativo para formarse como sus respectivos planes de estudio), un cuadernillo de infografías con información aplicada al campo de este trastorno, varias herramientas de gestión del comportamiento o un libro de actividades con un amplio abanico de plantillas en blanco para usarlas o adaptarlas a tu contexto educativo.
Además, durante esta semana, la última reunión transnacional está teniendo lugar en Aarhus, Dinamarca, dónde además de la reunión, se celebrará una conferencia internacional sobre el proyecto a la que asistirán más de 80 participantes y ponentes expertos en esta temática. Esto será prácticamente el broche final del proyecto pues finalizará el 28 de febrero de 2023.

Bringing the inclusion of autism in the regular classroom closer to Primary Education.
The vast majority of families who have a son or daughter with autism prefer them to be in the regular classroom during the Primary Education stage, according to several researches. And this is one of the fundamental reasons why the ERASMUS+ The A Class project arose, in addition to the scarce training that the teaching team that is not specialised in Special Education has, to face this type of situation. The need for updating and training is urgent, and this project has proved to be very useful and helpful, at least for the teaching staff of the Virgen del Rocío School in Huelva, where the national dissemination event was held last Monday, February 6th. During the event, the team of professionals had the opportunity not only to learn about the project but also to see and test all the material that has been produced during the two years that this European project has lasted. Thanks to the website of The A Class, all the material is offered publicly and free of charge so that it can be accessed without any problem and we can highlight results such as a classroom training course and another eLearning course (which are composed of both educational material for training and their respective curricula), a booklet of infographics with information applied to the field of this disorder, several behaviour management tools or a book of activities with a wide range of blank templates to use or adapt them to your educational context.
Moreover, during this week, the last transnational meeting is taking place in Aarhus, Denmark, where in addition to the meeting, an international conference on the project will be held with more than 80 participants and expert speakers on this topic. This will be practically the final touch of the project as it will end on February 28, 2023.
