Comienzan las primeras sesiones formativas de adolescentes en el proyecto EFIVOS
Durante el mes de marzo hemos llevado a cabo las primeras sesiones formativas para jóvenes inmigrantes con el equipo de Chipre Citizens In Power / Πολίτες Σε Ισχύ, que fueron impartidas por Marta Marmol, coordinadora de innovación, y Laura Salgado, directora de formación.
El pasado 12 de marzo tuvo lugar la primera de ellas. En esta sesión, los participantes tuvieron su primera toma de contacto con el proyecto europeo EFIVOS y aprendieron algunos conceptos sobre el periodismos. También debatieron la importancia del proyecto a la hora de tomar las riendas en los medios de comunicación y para adquirir competencias digitales necesarias para la vida personal y profesional. Es muy importante que todos los participantes puedan ejercer el periodismo con unos valores y una ética. Durante esta sesión además tuvieron la oportunidad de saber un poco más sobre las Fake News o el Clickbait.
En la segunda sesión del curso para adolescentes hablamos sobre WordPress como herramienta para crear el periódico electrónico. Esta jornada tuvo lugar el día 23 de marzo y durante la misma los participantes hicieron diferentes prácticas con WordPress. También hablamos de herramientas colaborativas para usarlas online, ya que se han hecho imprescindibles con todas las restricciones de la pandemia mundial. Algunas de ellas fueron Google Drive, Padlet, Twidla, etc.
Durante el próximo mes de abril tendremos las siguientes sesiones con el equipo de Chipre Citizens In Power / Πολίτες Σε Ισχύ sobre edición de fotografías y videos. Además, empezará este mismo curso que se llevará a cabo con adolescentes en España junto a la Asociación Juvenil Talasa.
Estamos muy orgullosos con todo el interés mostrado por los participantes que desean con ansias empezar a escribir artículos y empezar a reclamar su sitio en los medios de comunicación.

The first training sessions for adolescents begin in the EFIVOS project
During the month of March we carried out the first training sessions for young immigrants with the Cyprus Citizens In Power / Πολίτες Σε Ισχύ team. The sessions were given by Marta Marmol, innovation coordinator and Laura Salgado, training manager. On 12nd March held the first one where the participants had their first contact with the European EFIVOS project and learned some concepts about journalism. Also they discussed the importance of the project related to taking the reins in the media and to acquire digital skills necessary for personal and professional life. It is very important that all participants can practice journalism with values and ethics. During this session they also had the opportunity to learn a little more about Fake News or Clickbait
In the second session of the adolescents course, we talked about WordPress as a tool to create an electronic newspaper. This seminar was held on 23rd March and the participants had the opportunity to do different practices with WordPress. We also showed the participants some collaborative tools to use them online, since they have become essential with all the restrictions of the global pandemic, some of them were Google Drive, Padlet, Twidla, etc.
During the next month of April we will have the following sessions with the Cyprus Citizens In Power / Πολίτες Σε Ισ team about photo and video editing. In addition, this same course will begin with adolescents from Spain and will be carried out together with Talasa Youth Association.
We are very proud of all the interest of the participants who are eager to start writing articles and start claiming their place in the media.
