Un nuevo recurso de educación abierta para los que trabajan con jóvenes y otros expertos // A new Open Education Resource for youth workers and other experts

Dentro del proyecto Youth Work 2.0 hemos creado un Recurso de Educación Abierta (REA) para enseñar a los monitores/trabajadores juveniles cómo planificar, implementar, monitorear y evaluar correctamente una actividad de aprendizaje con jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades de manera conjunta.

La plataforma les ayudará a comprender la relación entre la inclusión social y el trabajo juvenil, a desarrollar, planificar, implementar, monitorear y evaluar actividades no formales para fomentar el desarrollo de competencias sociales, cívicas e interculturales entre los jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades de manera conjunta; y a saber cómo involucrar en actividades no formales a jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades.

Destinatarios: trabajadores juveniles, líderes juveniles, supervisores juveniles.

Otros trabajadores de organizaciones que trabajen con jóvenes, personas que trabajen en el ámbito educativo y de Formación Profesional pueden utilizar esta plataforma para garantizar la inclusión social y crear el diseño de una actividad que involucre en un grupo mixto a los jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades, para incrementar la tolerancia y luchar contra la discriminación.

La plataforma e-Learning es un recurso de educación abierta desarrollado sobre la base de los principios de Aprendizaje Multimedia, y tendrá:

 A. Un curso online abierto con 10 módulos teóricos en forma de vídeos en inglés con subtítulos en rumano y español. El curso online tratará los siguientes temas:

  1. El trabajo juvenil y su impacto – Ética, papel, bienestar
  2. Inclusión social y trabajo juvenil – Facilitando actividades de educación no formal con jóvenes con menos oportunidades de manera conjunta
  3. Cómo fomentar el desarrollo de competencias sociales y cívicas entre jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades conjuntamente
  4. Cómo preparar una actividad no formal – evaluación de necesidades, trazado de los objetivos de aprendizaje
  5. Cómo elegir los métodos – el aprendizaje, los resultados del aprendizaje y estilos de aprendizaje
  6. Características de las actividades no formales con una dimensión intercultural – cultura, identidad, aprendizaje intercultural, trabajo juvenil 
  7. Actividades no formales
  8. Cómo formar equipos
  9. Evaluación y seguimiento de actividades no formales – Objetivos, procesos y resultados.
  10. Cómo preparar a los participantes para la transferencia y multiplicación de los resultados de aprendizaje

B. Un kit de herramientas que proporcionará un estándar de calidad mínimo para desarrollar actividades de aprendizaje no formales.

Youth Work 2.0 Instruments - Templates

Inlcuye 14 plantillas descargables para usar con el fin de planificar, diseñar, evaluar, monitorear, asegurar el impacto, seguimiento y asegurar la sostenibilidad de las actividades no formales con los jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades de manera conjunta.

Las plantillas del kit de herramientas ayudarán a definir y trazar:

  1. El papel de los trabajadores juveniles, identificación de valores y formas de bienestar
  2. La inclusión social y las conexiones entre la inclusión social y el trabajo juvenil
  3. Cómo facilitar actividades de educación no formal con jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades conjuntamente, identificación del grupo objetivo, selección deº los participantes
  4. Pasos a seguir para fomentar el desarrollo de competencias sociales y cívicas en las actividades que involucren a los jóvenes con y sin menos oportunidades por igual en un mismo grupo.
  5. Ficha de evaluación de necesidades, hoja de desarrollo de objetivos
  6. Planificar los resultados esperados y establecer los resultados de aprendizaje
  7. Cómo introducir la dimensión intercultural en las actividades no formales
  8. Qué hacer y qué planificar antes, durante y después de la actividad en términos de acciones
  9. El diseño del programa de la actividad no formal, el marco y el flujo del programa, el diseño de la sesión
  10. Herramientas para planificar la actividad en términos de gestión del tiempo
  11. Cómo elegir los métodos – diferencias entre los métodos y la metodología, objetivos, grupo destinatario, tiempo, espacio, experiencia, preferencias, individuos, tema
  12. Herramientas para el seguimiento y la evaluación: cuestionario, hojas de observación, retroalimentación, sesiones, evaluación diaria, evaluación personalizada, cualitativa y cuantitativa
  13. Elaborar el informe de actividades no formales
  14. Instrumentos y herramientas para garantizar la transferencia y la multiplicación de los resultados de la actividad

El objetivo del proyecto Youth Work 2.0 es facilitar el intercambio de competencias y experiencias entre 2 organizaciones de Rumanía y España para mejorar su calidad de trabajo juvenil, a través del desarrollo profesional de 12 jóvenes trabajadores, para ser agentes activos de inclusión, luchar contra la discriminación y fomentar el desarrollo de competencias sociales, cívicas e interculturales entre los jóvenes.

A new Open Education Resource for youth workers and other experts

As part of the Youth Work 2.0 project we have created an Open Education Resource (OER) to teach youth workers how to correctly plan, implement, monitor and evaluate a learning activity with the youths with and without fewer opportunities jointly. 

The platform will help you understand the relationship between social inclusion and youth work, to develop, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate non-formal activities to foster the development of social, civic, intercultural competences among youths with and without fewer opportunities jointly; and how to engage in non-formal activities youth with and without fewer opportunities.

Target group: youth workers, youth leaders, youth supervisors. 

Other organisation and youth workers, VET and Education system can use it this platform to ensure social inclusion and to create the design of an activity that involves jointly youth with and without fewer opportunities, to raise tolerance and fight against discrimination

The e-Learning platform is an open education resource developed based on Multimedia Learning principles, and will contain:

A. An open online course with 10 modules, in English with subtitle in Romanian and Spanish. The online course has the following lessons: 

  1. Youth work and its impact – Ethics, role, well-being
  2. Social inclusion and youth work – Facilitate non-formal education activities with youth with fewer opportunities jointly
  3. Foster the development of social and civic competences among youths with and without fewer opportunities jointly
  4. Prepare the non-formal activity – needs assessment, establish the learning objectives
  5. Choosing the methods: learning, learning outcomes and learning styles
  6. Characteristics of non-formal activities with intercultural dimension – culture, identity, intercultural learning, youth work
  7. Non-formal activities
  8. How to form the team 
  9. Non-formal activities evaluation and monitoring: Objectives, process, results and in impact
  10. Preparing the participants for transfer and multiplying

B. A Toolkit that provides a minimum quality standard to develop non-formal learning activities. 

There are 14 templates that can be downloaded to use in order to plan, design, evaluate, monitor, ensure impact, follow up and ensure the sustainability of the non-formal activities with youth with and without fewer opportunities jointly. 

The toolkit templates include:

  1. Youth workers role, identify values and ways for well being
  2. Social inclusion and the connections between social inclusion and youth work
  3. How to facilitate non-formal education activities with youth with fewer opportunities jointly, identifying the target group, select the participants
  4. Steps to take to foster the development of social and civic competences in activities that involve youths with and without fewer opportunities jointly
  5. Need assessment sheet, objectives development sheet
  6. Plan the expected results and establish the learning outcomes
  7. How to introduce the intercultural dimension in the non-formal activities
  8. What to do and what to plan before, during and after the activity in terms of actions
  9. The program design of the non-formal activity, the frame and program flow, session design
  10. Tools to plan the activity in terms of time management
  11. How to choose the methods – differences between the methods and methodology aims, target group, time, space, experience, preferences, individuals, topic
  12. Tools for monitor and evaluate: questionnaire, observation sheets, feedback, sessions, daily evaluation, tailored, qualitative and quantitative evaluation
  13. Develop the non-formal activity report
  14. Instruments and tools to ensure transfer and multiplying

The aim of the Youth Work 2.0 project is to facilitate the exchange of competences and experience between 2 organisations from Romania and Spain to improve their youth work quality, through the professional development of 12 youth workers, to be active agents of inclusion, to fight against discrimination and to foster the development of social, civic, intercultural competences among youths.
