// Inclusion of young people in the 2030 agenda for a more sustainable and democratic youth transition.

Inclusion of young people in the 2030 agenda for a more sustainable and democratic youth transition.

Last week, Inercia Digital project coordinator Julia García and a volunteer travelled to Tirana (Albania), the first European Youth Capital of 2022. The first official meeting of the Erasmus+ Youth in Transition project took place, and all the partners of the consortium met each other in this meeting: National Youth Congress (Albania), Ecological Future Education (Latvia), GaragErasmus (Belgium), Harghita County Council (Romania), Associação Sójovem das Saibreiras (Portugal), «Io, Noi» Associazione di Volontariato per la solidarietà e l’integrazione sociale (Italy).

This is an interesting project, and it has an appropriate consortium to implement it. Its main objective is to support the transition process that young people are going through in these new times, and to be done in favour of sustainability, democracy and good practices, taking into account the cross-cutting development of the sustainable goals of the UN 2030 agenda, and involving young people themselves in it.

In this meeting, the concept of the project has been known, ideas have been exchanged and dates have been set for the next events in order to start preparing them properly. In addition, the content of the handbook that will be developed to help youth associations in their work was also discussed, as well as the format and structure of the MOOC that will be created in the project, where Inercia Digital will have the leading role.
