En Inercia Digital celebramos el Día Mundial de los Océanos 🌊. // At Inercia Digital we celebrate the “World Ocean Day” 🌍.

Cada 8 de junio se celebra el Día Mundial de los Océanos con el fin de recordar a todos el papel tan importante que este recurso tiene en nuestra vida diaria y el impacto que los humanos tienen en el océano, para así desarrollar un movimiento mundial de apoyo y unir a la población en un proyecto para la gestión sostenible de nuestros mares.

El océano cubre más del 70% del planeta. Es nuestra fuente de vida y sustento de la humanidad y de todos los demás organismos de la tierra. Sin embargo, corre peligro. Más del 90% de las especies están mermadas y el 50% de los arrecifes de coral están destruidos.

Por ello, este año las Naciones Unidas han organizado un evento llamado «Revitalización: acción colectiva por los océanos» que se llevará a cabo de forma presencial y virtual con el objetivo de concienciar a la población sobre la gestión sostenible de los mares y océanos.

Desde Inercia Digital queremos celebrar este día haciendo mención al proyecto europeo GLocal, que estamos desarrollando actualmente junto a socios de Reino Unido, Portugal, Turquía, Rumania y Francia, y el cual tiene como objetivo concienciar al alumnado, profesorado, padres y madres sobre el cambio climático y proponer iniciativas sencillas con las que ayudar a mantener nuestro planeta a salvo.

At Inercia Digital we celebrate the “World Ocean Day” 🌍.

Every June 8, World Oceans Day is celebrated in order to remind everyone of the important role that this resource has in our daily lives and the impact that humans have on the ocean, in order to develop a global movement of support and unite the population in a project for the sustainable management of our seas.

The ocean covers more than 70% of the planet. It is our source of life and sustenance for humanity and all other organisms on earth. However, he is in danger. More than 90% of species are depleted and 50% of coral reefs are destroyed.

For this reason, this year the United Nations has organised an event called «Revitalization: collective action for the oceans» that will be carried out in person and virtually with the aim of raising awareness among the population about the sustainable management of the seas and oceans.

From Inercia Digital we want to celebrate this day by mentioning the European project GLocal,which we are currently developing with partners in the United Kingdom, Portugal, Turkey, Romania and France, and which aims to raise awareness among students, teachers, parents about climate change and to propose simple initiatives with which to help keep our planet safe.
