Esta semana, Carmen Martín, coordinadora de proyectos de Inercia Digital, se ha reunido de nuevo con los socios/as del proyecto Positive Parenting (P+), una formación creada para ayudar a abordar, a los padres y madres de niños/as con autismo, el comportamiento problemático de sus hijos/as, y cómo enseñarles habilidades sociales importantes.
La reunión se ha llevado a cabo en Palermo (Italia), en las oficinas de CEIPES, uno de los socios estratégicos del proyecto, y en esta se ha evaluado el progreso del proyecto y se han decidido los próximos pasos. Inercia Digital (España) asistió a la reunión junto a SC PSIHOFORWORLD (Rumanía), la Universidad de Masaryk (República Checa), CEIPES (Italia), STANDO LTD (Chipre) y Sina Svetulka (República de Macedonia del Norte).
¿En qué estamos trabajando ahora?
Ya nos hemos puesto manos a la obra con las traducciones, al inglés y al idioma de cada organización socia, del IO1, el currículo P+, para que pueda llegar a más gente en esos países.
¿Cuál es el siguiente paso?
La creación del IO2, el manual del formador P+, que se utilizará en la próxima actividad de formación, que estará dirigida por los socios de la Universidad de Masaryk, y que tendrá lugar en mayo en la República Checa.
El objetivo es dotar a los formadores/as de adultos con todos los conocimientos necesarios sobre el TEA (Trastorno del Espectro Autista) y el ABA (Análisis Conductual Aplicado), para que estos puedan enseñar, a los padres y madres de niños/as con autismo, elementos innovadores del programa, y cómo apoyar mejor a sus hijos en situaciones cotidianas en el hogar y en su día a día.

A step closer to the training course for trainers and parents of ASD children
This week, Carmen Martín, project coordinator of Inercia Digital, met again with the partners of the Positive Parenting (P+) project, a training created to help parents of children with autism to address the problematic behaviour of their children and how to teach them important social skills.
The meeting took place in Palermo (Italy), at the offices of CEIPES, one of the strategic partners of the project, to evaluate the progress of the project and to decide on the next steps. Inercia Digital (Spain) attended the meeting together with SC PSIHOFORWORLD (Romania), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), CEIPES (Italy), STANDO LTD (Cyprus) and Sina Svetulka (Republic of North Macedonia).
What are we working on now?
We are already working on the translations of the IO1, the P+ curriculum, into English and into the language of each partner organisation, so that it can reach more people in those countries.
What is the next step?
The creation of IO2, the P+ trainer’s manual, which will be used in the next training activity, which will be run by the partners of Masaryk University, and which will take place in May in the Czech Republic.
The aim is to equip adult trainers with all necessary knowledge about ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) so that they can teach parents of children with autism innovative elements of the programme and how to better support their children in everyday situations at home and in their daily life.
