Online meeting of the European project MADE IN EU to establish the new steps to follow.

On July 7, an online meeting of the Erasmus + project called »Made in EU / Safe Production in Children’s Wear»  took place, attended by Enrique Picón, coordinator of the project department and Ana Fortes , manager of the project department.

This meeting took place online because of the situation that surrounds Europe with the Covid-19, in fact, all the partners of this project should have met in May in Italy, but it was impossible.

Inercia Digital (Spain) attended this online meeting together with several partners from different European countries. We had the pleasure of meeting with Bursa Ticaret Il Mudurlugu (Turkey), IlMioLavoro (Italy), Bursa Valiligi (Turkey), Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Turkey), Camera di Commercio Industria Artigianato e Agricoltura di Teramo (Italy), Gazi Universitesi (Turkey)

This project has as main objectives:

  1. To increase the quality level of SMEs that operate in the children’s clothing sector.
  2. To improve knowledge and skills in the production stages (raw materials, designs …), such as the supply of product components and quality control to cover the basic requirements so that the product is safe.
  3. To create an online training platform so that European children’s clothing manufacturers have access to different materials and their production improves.

At the meeting we mainly established the division of tasks for the realization of a very important module dealing with the world market requirements in the export of children’s clothing. So, each partner was given a task and guidelines to follow to make this activity a success.

During yesterday’s meeting, the partners agreed to maintain contact via email and to be able to hold a face-to-face meeting when the situation in Europe improves. Hopefully it will be soon because we are very excited about this project and we would love to start implementing it soon.
