proyecto discoLas tecnologías de la información y comunicación, más conocidas como TIC, han incrementado su presencia desde hábitos rutinarios hasta cualquier ámbito, y en la educación y la formación juegan un papel cada vez más relevante.

Según un estudio realizado en 2015 por la Universidad Internacional de Valencia, Reino Unido y España superan la media comunitaria en cuanto al uso de las TIC en las aulas.

El proyecto DISCO se basa en el desarrollo de actividades que generen habilidades y competencias digitales entre los jóvenes, a través de la mejoras en términos de calidad educativa, innovación y cooperación.

Para conocer cómo han influido el uso de las TICs y su ventajas se han analizado los siguientes casos:

  1. CEIP Abencerrajes

Una de las principales características de este centro es que es abierto y la ausencia de rigidez en el trabajo de los profesores permitiendo crear un gran ambiente que facilite el estudio para el alumnado y el trabajo de los docentes.

El uso de las TICs en este centro ha permitido lo siguiente:

  • Una mayor cooperación y colaboración entre profesores y padres, consiguiendo una mayor involucración de los padres en esta materia.
  • La elaboración y producción del material didáctico por el centro tanto de forma impresa como vía web, posibilitando su reutilización y la modificación del contenido.
  • Han conseguido aumentar la motivación de los alumnos así como favorecer un mejor clima de trabajo en el aula.
  • El uso de una metodología que combine el uso de las TICs con la vida real.
  1. CEIP San Walabonso

Este centro consta de dos edificios y es uno de los pioneros en la provincia de Huelva en este tema.

Para este centro la incorporación de las TICs ha supuesto lo siguiente:

  • El material docente es elaborado por el propio centro, en el que participan tanto profesores como alumnos, lo que conlleva una mayor motivación y participación de ambos.
  • El uso de las TICs ha provocado cambios en los procesos tanto de enseñanza como de aprendizaje tanto en profesores como en alumnos que lo valoran positivamente.
  • Mayor formación del profesorado en el uso de estas herramientas.
  1. IES Lope de Vega

Este centro a través del departamento de Geografía e Historia en 3º y 4º de ESO del IES Lope de Vega en Fuente Obejuna, Córdoba lleva a cabo el proyecto microdocumentales. Este proyecto consiste en la creación de microdocumentales por parte de grupos de alumnos, llevando ellos todo el proceso cinematográfico a cabo.

Entre sus beneficios destacan los siguientes:

  • Mejora de algunas capacidades del alumnado como la creatividad, la cooperación y la madurez, ya que ellos llevan a cabo todo el proceso de producción.
  • Les acerca a la realidad socio-económica en la que viven para que comprendan mejor en qué mundo viven.
  • Creación de contenido digital a través del blog y un mayor uso de las TICs.
  • Mayor felicidad entre los alumnos y alumnas, lo que posibilita un mejor aprendizaje y un mayor interés de estos en la enseñanza que les proporciona el centro.

  1. CEIP San Walabonso

This center consists of two buildings and is one of the pioneers in the province of Huelva on this issue.
