El pasado día 16 de Diciembre se celebró una jornada informativa de los diferentes usos de Europass. Esta jornada se celebró en Madrid, donde participaron profesionales del sector de la educación, miembros del Sepie y el sector del alumnado.
Europass celebró su décimo aniversario este año. Es una herramienta muy útil para todas aquellas personas que desean realizar su curriculum en cualquier otro idioma o siguiendo un modelo europeo.
Durante esta jornada informativa se dieron a conocer diversos documentos que se incluyen en Europass que son desconocidos por la mayoría de estudiantes y profesionales. A continuación os haré una breve reseña de esos documentos:
- En primer lugar se encuentra el Pasaporte de Lenguas Europeas. Es un documento personal para registrar experiencias de aprendizaje de lenguas y culturas. Permite reflejar los conocimientos lingüísticos mediante un Cuadro de Autoevaluación que describe sus competencias por destrezas1.
- En segundo lugar encontramos el CV de Europass, disponible en más de 27 idiomas, cuya traducción ha sido llevada a cabo por los miembros de los diferentes departamentos de las organizaciones nacionales pertenecientes a Europass.
- En tercer lugar merece especial mención el Documento de Movilidad. Un documento donde se detallan las capacidades, actividades y competencias aprendidas y desarrolladas a lo largo de la movilidad realizada por los alumnos o profesionales. Donde se pone de manifiesto, gracias a la colaboración entre la organización de envío y la de destino. También es un documento informativo que puede complementar el CV Europass detallando información para el futuro empleador.
- En cuarto lugar, otro documento a título informativo que no suple a ningún otro documento oficial pero que sí lo complementa, el Suplemento Europass al Certificado de Profesionalidad. Es un documento informativo que se puede descargar y acompañar a un Certificado de Profesionalidad en el que se describen las competencias y perfil del titular del mismo de forma, tanto en inglés como en Castellano para facilitar su comprensión a empleadores o instituciones de otro país distinto al que lo expide. Este documento se divide en dos categorías. El Título de Técnico o Certificado de profesionalidad documento para FP de Grado Medio y por otra parte al Título Superior para FP de Grado Superior y Títulos Universitarios.

On the last 16th of December an Europass infoday took place in Madrid. This session was about the different uses of Europass itself. In this informative session took part professionals of the educational sector, the Sepie’s members and the student’s sector.
Europass celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. Is a very useful tool created to all those people that wish compose his CV in any other language or just following the European model.
During this informative day several Europass documents were promoted which include themselves are unknown by most of students and professionals. From now on I will make out a brief review of those documents:
- In the first place, European Language Passport. It is a personal document to register learning experiences of languages and cultures. It allows you to reflect the linguistic knowledge by means of an auto-evaluation Frame that describes your competitions and skills.
- Secondly, we found Europass CV, available in more than 27 languages, whose translation has been done by the members of the different departments of the national organizations belonging to Europass.
- In the third place, it deserves a special mention: the Mobility Document. A document where are detailed all the capacities, activities and competitions learned and developed in the course during the mobility accomplished by the pupils or professionals. Where it becomes manifested, thanks to the collaboration between the sending organization and the destiny one. It is also a briefing paper that can complement the Europass CV detailing information for the future employer.
- In the fourth place, another document as an informative title that does not supply any other official document but that it definitely complements it, the Europass supplement to Professional Certificate. It is a briefing paper that can get discharged and accompanying a Certificate of Profesionalidad in which they describe competences and the owner profile of the same of way, both in English as in Spanish to make easy his understanding for employers or institutions of another different country to the one that register it. This document is splitted into two categories.Title certificate or Title of professionalism certificate document for middle-ranking FP and on the other hand to the Higher Title for Higher Professionalism studies and University Degrees.
