– Why do the businesses need social networks?

Why do the businesses need social networks?

Social Networks are an essential tool nowadays for every business. What has really changed is their significance. Everybody is 24 hours connected due to the mobile devices evolution and we have access to Internet in any part of the world.

It is necessary to distinguish between the two types of communication within the businesses:

  • Online
  • Offline

The Offline comunication is the one that has always been used, for example: street advertising, TV or radio. The businesses use them to reach the public for many years now. Newspapers, magazines or any printed media form also part of this communication.

The direct or indirect communication is also placed within the Offline communication. The former being addressed to a particular type of public and the latter one directed to the rest.

However, the Online communication has many advantages more:

-It reaches the public globally.

-You can emit as many messages as you want.

-The public grows up infinitely faster because the majority of the communication within the social networks, that is, businesses profiles in Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin… grow up thanks to the users recommendations or suggestions, and best of all, you don’t have the need to recommend it, but in almost every ocassion the applications make that function for you and it is offered to the user.

The most important types can be:

The e-mail. Another marketing communication’s form and another network that nowadays has been replaced by the newsletter in both Spanish and English. The newsletter consists of sending to a businesses list ( business own contacts, the so-called data base ) regularly a «letter ´´ with many graphical elements about what has been done that month.

Linkedin. It is the social network that, in business terms, is going to grow up the most during 2015-2016. It has already been achieved in Europe, since it is the most formal form of communication within the social networks. People inssert their curriculums and they can label their disciplines; then, they offer help both claimants and offerors.

The webs. WWW is the door to the international business world, I might assure in almost 99% that any strong business has its own website in both English and the original language, and many times, only in English leaving out its original language. That happens for many reasons; first of all and the most obvious, the English is the universal language.

The other reason, the most important one: the web positioning, that is, the Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Every important or big business should have at least one SEO. One person is responsible together with the Community manager for social networks. The latter attends to the communication which is published or not in our own networks. The SEO studies which words must be repeated strategically to be well and highly positioned on Google’s search. A business becomes invisible to the user when it appears after the 2nd page on Google. Generally, no one searchs in more than two or three pages.

English pages are usually written by a person who has studied English or a native person to achieve the most efficacy and professionalism possible. The mesagges cast outside from the social networks are written in both languages (original and English) to reach more easily to get every type of public; international and national.
