Finaliza con éxito el curso de formación “Creación de Videojuegos Educativos” impartido por Inercia Digital en Huelva.
La semana del 22 al 28 de abril tuvo lugar el curso Creación de Videojuegos Educativos en El Rompido School (Huelva) impartido por Inercia Digital, al cual asistieron profesoras de Rannu Kool de Estonia. El curso estuvo enfocado en el aprendizaje de las nociones básicas de programación a través del programa Scratch, el cual es perfecto para las personas que están recién empezando en el mundo de la programación ya que es muy intuitivo.
Durante el curso las participantes aprendieron a crear varios videojuegos con este programa, como fueron el típico juego de ping-pong o el flappy bird. Además, se les explicó diferentes funciones recientemente añadidas al programa como la función de videosensing, donde pueden crear videojuegos que funcionen con la cámara web o la función pen, en la que a través del ratón pueden dibujar en el videojuego. Ambas funciones se pusieron en práctica para que las participantes vieran cuán útiles eran y qué función podrían tener dentro de la educación formal.
El día de buenas prácticas, recorrieron la ciudad de Huelva para visitar el instituto SAFA Funcadia, donde se les explicó el sistema educativo español y cómo este estaba organizado, además se les enseñó la plataforma usada por este instituto para la comunicación entre alumnos, padres y profesorado. También visitaron la Universidad de Huelva donde aprendieron sobre la enseñanza superior en España y sobre la plataforma Moodle usada por esta universidad. Por último, visitaron Andalucía Compromiso Digital, donde se les explicó la interesante labor de esta organización y donde también les enseñaron los diferentes usos de Scratch (como impresiones de objetos en 3D) gracias a un curso que esta misma organización impartió.
Al finalizar el curso, todas las participantes estonianas pudieron llevarse su certificado de formación al haber aprobado el examen de evaluación con excelentes notas, demostrando así que han adquirido los conocimientos básicos necesarios para el manejo de Scratch.

A successful end to Inercia Digital’s “Creation of Educational Videogames” training course in Huelva.
From 22 to 28 April Inercia Digital hosted a learningful week with our “Creation of Educational Videogames” course taught in El Rompido School (Huelva) and attended by teachers of Rannu Kool (Estonia). The course was focused on introducing participants to the basics of coding through Scratch, an online programming platform that is perfect for people who are taking their first steps in the world of coding due to its intuitive interface.
During the course, participants learnt how to create different videogames, such as the classic ping-pong or flappy bird. Moreover, they learnt about Scratch’s latest functions, like the new videosensing option which lets you use the webcam to create videogames or the new pen function, in which you can use the mouse to draw in the game. Both functions were put into practice by the participants so that they could create a videogame using them and exploit their full potential as well as learn about its application in a more formal school environment.
On the Good Practices Day, they visited the SAFA Funcadia secondary school in Huelva, where they were walked through the Spanish educational system and the communication system between students, teachers and parents. They also visited the University of Huelva, where they saw how the Moodle platform is used in higher education. The last visit was to Andalucía Compromiso Digital, where they were taught about the groundbreaking work of this organisation and were able to see the different uses of Scratch (in the form of 3D prints) thanks to a short course taught by this centre during their time there.
On the last day of the course, the participants received their certificates after passing the evaluation exam with excellent marks, showing us that they achieved the basic knowledge needed for using Scratch.
