Kickoof meeting of the KA2 project RELiVET

Last 5th of November it was held the first meeting of the Erasmus + Reducing Early Leaving in VET «RELiVET» project in Rethymno, Greece.

The project, coordinated by ACTA (Romania), counts with the participation of EELI (Greece) ETIC (Portugal) Consorzio Ro.Ma. and ITI RIGHI (Italy), EU TRADE (Lituania) and Inercia Digital (Spain).

The main objective of the «RELiVET» project is to reduce early leaving of VET students. This project is born from the worrying situation in Europe due to the high levels of early abandonment in the field of education, especially in vocational training.

The project will last 24 months, during which it will be designed a set of tools for teachers and families to prevent early leaving, a course to be taught to teachers and an international network, with which it is intended to provide methods for teachers in order to reduce the level of dropping out of their students, detecting in advance students who may be at risk of early leaving and putting a solution from an early state.

The main objective of this meeting was to create the first personal contact between the project partners, distribute the different tasks that each participant will carry out, as well as propose ideas to carry out throughout the project.

From here we want to thank EELI for their effort, dedication and hospitality, as well as the rest of the project partners for their professionalism and participation in the project.
