Primer encuentro transnacional del proyecto KA2 “ROBOTICS 4.0 ALL”. // Kickoff of the KA2 project ROBOTICS 4.0 ALL

On December 13th and 14th, we celebrated in Bodo, Norway, the takeoff meeting of the project «Development of STEM competencies with Robotics, Robotics 4.0. for all»

This project is coordinated by the organization First Scandinavia of Norway, and was approved within the framework of the ka2 erasmus strategic associations. With a duration of two years, the project aims to promote STEM skills through the development of robotics knowledge for teachers and vocational students.

Together with Inercia Digital (Spain) and First Scandinavia (Norway), they also participate in the Oecon Group project (Bulgaria), NPO Robootika (Estonia), Eduact (Greece), Open Media Group (Croatia) and Dekaplus (Cyprus).

The «ROBOTICS 4.0 ALL» project has four key objectives that are interconnected: – Conduct European research and needs analysis on the current status of STEM education and robotics; – Create new innovative curricula to combine the best practices and fill the identified gaps. – Consequently, train the trainers of the consortium based on the LEGO Mindstorms; – And, most importantly, train and educate the children in the local «Robocamps», who will then participate as teams in a Transnational Robotics Tournament with their peers. Through this comprehensive approach, both adult and young participants will have the opportunity to acquire, develop and improve key competences and skills in robotics, relevant to education and training in STEM, through innovative curricula and pedagogy. These skills and competences will help our target groups and beneficiaries to be better prepared and equipped for future educational and professional opportunities, always with a view to the new digital era that is approaching and the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0)

We want to thank the good work done by the project coordinator of the First Scandinavia, for the magnificent organization of the meeting, as well as to make a call to the trainers and young people of Huelva interested in Robotics so that they can get involved in the next activities of the project.

In the coming months, we will inform you of the development of the project.
