Citizens in Power

Inercia Digital starts a new Erasmus+ project with Camera a Sud Società Cooperativa, Sdruzhenie Walk Together, Digijeunes and C.I.P. Citizens in Power

The economic crisis and the conflicts spread in the Middle East and western Africa caused an increase in the migration flows toward the EU, modifying or destabilizing the socio-cultural order. There is a risk of drawing the EU to a phase of intolerance and closing. In this scenario, ICT can play a fundamental role as means to fight against the racism and to promote the culture of diversity.

“ICT for Social Inclusion” is an exchange of good practices aimed at creating a solidarity international network to promote intercultural dialogue, improving in youth workers the capacity of recognize and react to social and cultural diversity in their field of action. With this in mind, a training  to tackle the discriminations, learn  participatory approaches and innovative methodologies of social inclusion based on the ICT and activate the youth workers as intercultural “ambassadors” will be given. Furthermore, we will produce a toolkit and an awareness campaign led by the trained youth workers.

The kick-off meeting will be held in 9th and 10th of january and we are looking forward to it!
