Último encuentro y conferencia del proyecto InTeMIS // Final meeting and conference of the InTeMIS project

The final meeting of the InTeMIS project took place on 25th and 26th of June 2018 in Salerno, Italy, in the facilities of Essenia.

The InTeMIS project, of which we’ve previously spoken about, aims at introducing ICT based Flipped Learning, an innovative and student-centred pedagogical approach, into VET schools and centres. With this approach, InTeMIS aims to increase the quality of teaching and learning, to help reduce early school leaving, to decrease the number of underskilled teenagers and ultimately to support modernisation of education and training systems.

The meeting served to define and close the last steps of the project, which finishes now in September, and to establish the sustainability plan that will keep alive the results after the work is finished.

In the morning of the 26th the partners arrived to the Institute “Galilei” of Salerno to held the final conference of the project to the teachers of the area.

The Guidelines for Implementing Blended Learning Environments, the main result of the project, is available in downloadable format here, as well as in the e-learning platform of Action Synergy here (user intemis, password flipped).

The Comparative Research on innovative teaching and training needs of VET teachers and students in Italy is available in downloadable format here.

The slides of the presentations of the final conference are also available in the here.

More resources and information about the project and the flipped classrooom methodology are available in the project’s website: https://www.intemis-project.net/

We’d like to thank Francesca, Giovanna and all the Essenia team for their great care and hard work they put into the meeting, conference and, overall, the project.
