The First Transnational Meeting for the VET-Furnishing Project was held the 23rd of May, 2017. It was arranged by our English partner Global Skills Ledger in their facilities in London.
«The Career Guidance and Modular Training Programme Based On E-Learning Which is Suitable and Available for Professional Competence of Furnishing» Project (VET-Furnishing) has as main objective the facilitation of an institutional structure based on self-fulfilment, making easy for the students at the department of furniture and interior design at the coordinator school the transfer from the school to the labour market. The partnership is formed by four organiations and institutions dedicated to furniture field of Turkey (Kayseri OSB School, Hacettepe University, Erciyes University and Kayseri OSB); two training providers from UK (Global Skills Ledger and Didac Limited), one from Austria (Best Institute) and Inercia Digital.
During the meeting, after a welcome from the coordinator, OSB METEM from Turkey, every partner had the opportunity of introduce our organization and activities that we do, as well as the contribution that we can do in the development of the project. The meeting day was dedicated to share information about the time schedule of the next activities to be executed, to discuss the activities executed so far and in process, and to talk about financial and administrative issues. Another topic of discussion was the establishment of dates for the next training activity and meeting, that will be held both in Spain.

El primer encuentro transnacional del proyecto VET-Furnishing tuvo lugar el día 23 de mayo de 2017. Fue organizado por nuestros socios ingleses Global Skills Ledger en sus instalaciones.
«The Career Guidance and Modular Training Programme Based On E-Learning Which is Suitable and Available for Professional Competence of Funishing» Project (VET-Furnishing) tiene como objetivo principal facilitar una estructura institucional basada en la realización personal, haciendo que el paso de los estudios al merado laboral sea más fácil para los estudiantes del departamento de muebles y diseño de interior de la escuela de los coordinadores del proyecto. El consorcio está formado por cuatro organizaciones e instituciones dedicadas al ámbito del mobiliario (Escuela Kayseri OSB, Universidad de Hacettepe, Universidad de Erciyes y Kayseri OSB); dos organizaciones proveedoras de cursos de Reino Unido (Global Skills Ledger y Didac Limited), una de Austia (Best Institute) e Inercia Digital.
El día del encuentro, tras la bienvenida del socio coordinador del proyecto, OSB METEM de Turquía, cada socio tuvimos la oportunidad de presentar a nuestra organizsación, las actividades que llevamos a cabo y la aportación que podemos hacer al desarrollo del proyecto. El día de reunión estuvo dedicado a compartir información sobre la organización de las siguientes actividades que tienen que ser llevadas a cabo, así como las actividades que se habían ejecutado hasta el momento y las que estaban en proceso. También se trataron temas administrativos y financieros, así como el establecimiento de las fechas para las siguientes actividades de formación y reunión, que tendrán lugar ambas en España.
