Learning about Internet of Things through IOT DIGICLASS

The second course of the project IOT DIGICLASS in Baiao (Portugal) has been hold from the 18th to the 23rd of July, at the Agrupamento de Escolas de Vale de Ovil school.photo group IOT

The coordinator of the IOT DIGICLASS Project,  Vocational School Kadri Şaman MTSO of Mersin, Turkey, have trained students and teachers from Portugal, Italy, Romania and Spain about the process of communication of the devices (RFID, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) within the infrastructure of IOT.

Internet of Things is an ecosystem which includes many embedded substructures, more than a process by itself. IOT ecosystem is thought to improve people’s lives through the progressive integration of technology into educational environment.

The different partners have worked on the process of communication of the devices (RFID, Zigbee, Bluetooth, WI-Fi) within the infrastructure of IOT using samples that have been previously created by the coordinator in the project website. Also there has been some training about the presentation of protocols, setting up and testing communication devices among the system’s substructure components.

The IOT DIGICLASS project aims to improve the cooperation, safety and reliability of the systems built according to IOT ecosystem, which it is believed to improve people’s lives and increase the roles of these systems in the educational process of Informatic Technologies

We would like to express our gratitude to the team of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Vale de Ovil for their excellent organization and warm welcome.
