Final meeting of the START Project  in Greece

The START project (The Art of START) is a 2 years lasting project that focuses on young adults and whose main aim is to build a bridge between the worlds of academia and business, offering young adults the essential tools and skills needed to move into the world of business.

The project wants the entrepreneurs to bear in mind the basic business skills through contact with experienced promoters who will act as mentors. The project partners have co-developed a handbook to help the mentors when mentoring the young adult entrepreneurs, what will provide them with the necessary skills and abilities for a successful future and offer them the experience of international visits and mobility. This point is what makes the project so special, funded with the support of the European Commission and with some partners as Age UK Lancashire (a Charity working with and for older people in Lancashire), Lancaster and Morecambe College (a public sector Further Education College with a long history of working with socially disadvantaged groups), Inercia Digital S.L. ( SME specialized in e-learning on e-business and web entrepreneurs for organisations and entrepreneurship), Horama Thesprotias (a non-profit, non-governmental organization), The Plannenmakers  (active in guiding the 5 main stages of entrepreneurship) and Risks of the Internet and Communication Technologies Association (focused on preventive education in areas of dangerous use of Internet and communication technologies).
