Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project «Informed and Safe Use of Social Media» // Primer encuentro del Proyecto Erasmus+ «Informed and Safe Use of Social Media»

The last week of January we had the pleasure to host the partners of the Project named “INFORMED AND SAFE USE SOCIAL MEDIA SKILLS TO ADULTS” for the kick-off transnational meeting. The meeting took place at El Rompido School on the 30th and 31st of January and 1st of February. Partners from Golbasi Public Education Center (TU), Previform (PT), Ankara Golbasi Chamber of Tradesmen and Artisans (TU), Institute of Entrepreneurship development (GR) were welcomed in the installations of Inercia Digital. Partners from Euroform RFS (IT) apologized for not being there, but they could follow the meeting by skype connection.

This Project, under the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to help adults by teaching them how to use safe social media, since these adults don’t know how to use internet consciously and  in a safe manner and present lack of  information about digital life. In this project, guidance and counselling services will be provided to adults priority whose social, economic and education levels are beneath standards and who couldn’t introduce themselves with information and communication technologies during their formal education to use social media efficient and in a secure way.

The first day of meeting, the partners from the coordinator organisation, Golbasi Public Education Center, presented the project step by step, every partner of the consortium introduced their organizations, and general comments about risks on internet and social media were shared.

The second day was dedicated to the discussion of the researching about risk on internet and the current situation of safety use of social media in every partner country.

The third and final day of the meeting the coordinator commented the special tasks and steps forward that every partner has to do the next months.

We will continue informing you about the progress and results of the Project. Thanks!

¡Gracias!
